Use our Advocacy Tool – Just Zero’s advocacy services allow you to contact legislators, agency officials, and/or decision makers about the issues that concern you. When you use these services, we request, collect, and retain certain information. This information includes your name, email address, mailing address, phone number, and other personally identifiable information you choose to share with us in this context. We also collect and retain information about the actions which you participated in and the content of the messages you sent. This includes petitions, action alerts, and targeted emails.

Sign Up for Our Emails – When you sign up and opt-in to receive emails from us, including Just Zero’s electronic newsletter, advocacy alerts, event invites, and fundraising emails, we request and collect certain information. This information includes your name, email address, mailing address, phone number, and other personally identifiable information you elect to share with us when signing up.

Agree to Become a Member – When you become a member of Just Zero we request, collect, and retain certain information you provide us. This includes your name, email address, billing address, credit card information, phone number, membership fees, and address.

We include this information when we send your message. This is necessary so that your message can be effective, and it is often required when contacting many government officials. We also keep copies of action alerts you send, which we may quote and put on our websites, and which are identified by the author’s initials and city/state. This helps advance our advocacy objectives and efforts. Just Zero may, with your express permission, also post the content you generate through our action alerts on our websites. This helps empower our advocacy and share a diverse range of views on a given issue.

Cookie Information – We use the information collected through our websites and microsites to the extent they are necessary to offer the functions needed to provide functionality of these sites. We also use Cookie information to remember preferences and settings you have selected when using our websites and microsites. Additionally, Cookie information is used to measure how you use our websites. We collect data on this to test and improve our websites.

With Our Service Providers – Just Zero has agreements with businesses to provide us with the services we need to function our websites. Just Zero does not knowingly collect personal identifiable information from children under the age of thirteen. If you are under thirteen years old, you should not provide personally identifiable information to Just Zero without first providing us with consent from your parents or guardians.
